Sunrise Birth & Family Wellness is a community centered, non-profit 501(c)3 organization. Along with development of the cooperative birth center, its purposes are based on improving awareness and outcomes in childbirth and related issues, improvement of maternal and infant health, and family well-being through the Midwives Model of Care.
Sunrise 'Center provides access to educational materials and presentations for prenatal health, safe birth options, postnatal and well-woman issues, breastfeeding support and family wellness topics.
Timely maternity services and a variety of health care options and services to underserved populations, are of major importance to the well-being of mothers, infants and families.
The growth of Sunrise Center programs also brings informative health education and resources to remotely situated residents.
